Al-Ajwa Traders is having than 28 years of experience in this field and Mr Rouf, a descendant of the family carries the tradition forward.
Cultivation
Saffron grows to 20–30 cm (8–12 inch),bears up to four flowers, each with three vivid stigmas, the dried stigmas(crocus sativus flowers) are used mainly in various cuisines as a seasoning and coloring agent. Kashmiri Saffron “Shahi Zaffron” and “Mogra Zaffron” is the world’s finest saffron and the most expensive as it is tough to obtain,saffron flowers bloom for about three weeks, from mid-October to the first days of November.
